How IPL and Laser Acne Treatments Work

Palomar's IPL treatment for preventing future acne breakouts delivers a spectrum of light that is absorbed by porphyrins within the skin, destroying P. acnes bacteria and inhibiting future acne breakouts.

To treat acne scars, we use pulses of laser light to coagulate scar tissue and trigger healthy new tissue to form in clients' skins.  Healing time is minimal, infection risk is eliminated and clients feel little to no pain.
